Mary Arg. Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 Hello all, My name is Mary from Melbourne, Australia. I am a member of telescope live for a couple of years and tried a few times to work with PixinSight (with raw data already provided here) but I found it challenging for me to engage with. However, I decided to try again with step by steps tutorials, and find probably an alternative editing program. Wish to everyone clear skies and thank you for including me in your community! 2
ERNESTO GUIDO Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 Hello Mary, Welcome! We are happy to have you here with us at Telescope Live! In the tutorial section, we also have many videos about SIRIL software (it is a free and powerful image processing software): https://telescope.live/tutorials/all?tt_software[]=1354&sort_by=created Clear Skies, Ernesto
Mary Arg. Posted February 8 Author Posted February 8 Thank you Ernesto for your reply! I was discouraged by the complexity of PixinSignt and I stopped trying for a while until I gave a shot with Siril. I was amazed with my work! (my first ever astro-photo!). I posted it to Siril discussion because I am facing a few issues (pink, purple pixels like stars). Anyway, thank you so much for the suggestion! Wish you all the best and always clear skies! Mary
