Mark Mayer
I've failed miserably trying to stack these images is AutoStakkert! or RegiStax. I can open them and sharpen in RegiStax, but stacking has been a flop. Any suggestions?

I also tried stacking with alignment in Affinity Photo, but that failed. I was finally able to solve the problem by aligning and stacking the sharpened images from RegiStax using WinJUPOS. It's slower than the automatic alignment that Scotty showed, but the software is free and it's robust. After that I used PixInsight to make a color image.

You could also try using PIPP if you want a faster solution
