Kurt Lanes
I can't seem to get this to accept my RA and DEC values what it the required format for these? Thanks Kurt
ERNESTO GUIDO
Hi Kurt, If you try to search for an object and press on the COORDINATES button, the system can return the AR DEC automatically. Of course you can also just insert the coordinates. Attached a screenshot for M 45 search as an example. (If the search gives you no results, try by using a larger radius like 1500 or 15000). Kurt Lanes
Ernesto Thanks but I must be dumb. I am looking near the Fireworks galaxy at RA 20h 43m 0s and DEC 60d 15m 50s. If I type 20 in the RA I get an error before I can type anything else. Kurt
ERNESTO GUIDO
Hi Kurt, I just tried your search for 20 43 00 +60 15 50 See image below. When you start writing the RA 20 and you see the red alert "RA is not valid" just keep writing, you should be able to complete the RA coordinates.
